KAWEH is an international group performing Spanish Guitar, Flamenco Rumba, Mediterranean, and Salsa, based in the San Francisco area. The group's members hail from as far as Iran, Germany, Israel, Uruguay, Mexico and the US. KAWEH combines the energyof the Gypsy Kings, Latin & Brazilian rhythms and Mediterranean and Middle Eastern melodies. “Just as leafing through an atlas can transport you from one region of the world to another in the flip of a few pages, so too does KAWEH's music" describes the Bay Area's MetroActive. Fans love their chemistry, their moving rhythms and sweet melodies.

Since 2000, KAWEH has released five albums and sold thousands of copies world wide and independently. Their latest release "Live In San Francisco (2008)" is a CD/DVD combo album, which was recorded at the Great American Music Hall when KAWEH presented and opened up the show at the Sol Y Luna reunion concert. Special guest Edgardo Cambon leader of San Francisco's premier Salsa group "Candela" joins the group at their Little Fox performance.
